Why I write

Writing is how I express myself. We all have a voice, something to say that's worth hearing. I haven't always used my voice but I have used my pen or keyboard to get the words out of my head. It's time to do it for all the people who need to know that someone is thinking and feeling just like them. I write because I want to let people know they are not alone, someone cares about what they are going through and they'll be okay. But most importantly I write because it is a part of who I am and because I believe that it is a part of God's will for my life, to write. Habakkuk 2:2 (MSG) says ..."Write this. Write what you see. Write it our in big block letter so that it can be read on the run...  Of course the context under which Habakkuk was commanded to write was different than mine but this is an opportunity for me to share my thoughts and adventures with you.
